As a Charlotte portrait photographer, I created the Empowered Over 40 Campaign to showcase the beauty, resilience, and power of women at every stage of life. Recently, I had the privilege of photographing one of my most meaningful sessions yet: my mother, her two sisters, and my grandmother—who just celebrated her 90th birthday. (Happy Birthday Grandma!!!)

From my mom and her sisters—each confidently embracing life after 40—to my grandmother, whose 90 years are a testament to grace and perseverance, every portrait told a story of legacy and connection.
