Pregnancy...These are your first moments of motherhood, and they are priceless! A maternity portrait session is the perfect way to capture your glow and the intense emotions as timeless art. Maternity portraits are best captured around 28 to 32/34 weeks, when your beautiful belly bump is round and curvaceous, but a session can be scheduled all the way up until your due date. This timing can be different for everyone, let's chat and determine when is best for you.
There are endless options for a stunning maternity session you’ll never forget – indoor or outdoor, casual or glamorous, the whole family or just mama. We’ll work together to design an amazing experience you’ll cherish for a lifetime. Even better, your photos are typically ready for you within two weeks for you to view in person for the first time!! Maternity photo sessions fill up quickly, and it is always best to connect with me as soon as possible for an appointment.

Designer client closet
No need to stress mama on what you are going to wear for your maternity pictures. Knowles Photography is one of the few luxury studios to provide a designer client closet exclusively to all of our mamas for both their maternity & newborn photoshoots.
You can choose from a variety of designer maternity gowns, skirts, bodysuits, luxury fabric, and accessories for your session. Majority of the gowns and accessories are specifically made with maternity mamas in mind, so you will find that gown that is right for you to perfectly tell your pregnancy story.

Studio or Outdoors?
Why not get both!! Whether you prefer fine art maternity photography in the studio, or stylish lifestyle photos outdoors, there are endless possibilities for beautiful maternity art.
The Knowles Photography studio property is located on 13 acres of rolling pasture hills, tall grass, tree lined walkway, pond, old Ford truck, red barn, newly built greenhouse, plus the comfort of the indoor studio.
The studio is a refreshing and cozy environment within a short walking distance for an easy and relaxing outfit change. You can chose to use the curtesy golf cart if you want to take a break from walking during your session.
We also offer maternity portraits in additional outdoor locations. We have lots of favorite locations, and we’re always happy to help you select the ideal setting for the style you desire!

Frequently Asked Questions?
No. Definitely not. 95% of my clients do chose the studio property for the luxury and comfort of both in studio and outdoor portraits. We love to explore new bold and fun locations or traveling to chase waterfalls or destination babymoon locations too. Additional recommended locations can be provided or if you have a desired location in mind.
Do i have to shoot at your property?
Maternity sessions are best scheduled between 30-36 weeks of your pregnancy. It is always recommended to book your session on my calendar as soon as you are ready. Many clients book theirs at the beginning of their second trimester to ensure they do not miss their availability for their maternity photoshoot.
When should I book my Session?
Yes it is an optional add on service provided. We work with a few hair and make up artist that will come to the studio before your session to give you the extra pampering of doing your hair and makeup so you are photo ready when it is time for your session.
Do you offer Hair and Makeup?
Yes we definitely want to help capture the connections between you and your spouse plus the older siblings bond already forming between them and their new baby sibling. We will discuss this more prior to your session during the consultation process to determine how to meet your family's needs.
Can my partner or older children be in the photoshoot?
Within 2-3 weeks following your session, we will schedule for your ordering appointment and big reveal at the studio. This will be the moment you have been waiting for when you get to see your pictures for the very first time in person. We will go through them together to help decide on your favorites and what products will display your pictures best throughout your home.
How long until I get to see my pictures for the first time?
Yes and any digital image purchased includes a print release to print on your own. We highly recommend ordering prints through our professional printing lab as we can guarantee the quality provided to best display your custom artwork.
Do you offer digital images?
For ourdoor portraits, it is best recommended to schedule your session an hour to hour and half before sunset as this will provide you with that golden light. For in studio portraits, we have lots more flexibility as we are not fighting the weather elements.
When is the best time for my session?
