I’m a wife, mama of two cute kiddos, pet-owner, identical twin sister and a coastal nut. I am tea OBSESSED {McAlisters Tea to be exact} !!

I truly believe pictures help anchor the home. Every day we walk through our homes and see the faces of the ones we love. Faces of our babies and family throughout the years - happy memories relived each time we pass by them. When we look at these images on our walls, they bring us joy, make us smile and help us to treasure each moment as we lived it. I truly have the most amazing job in the world because I am able to provide these same feelings for my clients through telling your story of your family through the finished portraits created.

MEET AMANDA

The studio is warm and inviting space designed specifically with your comfort in mind along with providing the most for my mamas and babies. It can be the perfect place for new parents to cozy up and enjoy a nap while I capture those beautiful womb like newborn pictures. Snacks and water are provided.

The studio is fully stocked with a variety of handmade designer newborn props and maternity outfits. Mamas you do not need to stress about what to wear for your maternity pictures or even after you just had your baby and want to capture those snuggling parent pictures with your newborn. I pride myself in stocking my client closet with a variety of designer gowns, skirts, bodysuits, headpieces, jewelry and accessories for easy layering textures.

Prior to your session we will determine which color scheme and props are best for your maternity and newborn pictures. My clients love that I plan ahead to ensure a cohesive artwork design to ensure your pictures will seamlessly match your home decor or nursery design.

The Knowles Photography studio property is located on 13 acres of rolling pasture hills in Marshville, NC. Just a short drive from Charlotte and Monroe NC for all of our maternity, newborn and family clients.

The studio property is surrounded by trees to give you that secluded and private experience feel. When you come for your session we can stroll about the property and choose different settings around the property to give you a variety of backdrop options from a tree lined walkway, pond, red barn, vintage red truck, short and tall grass pastures, and a newly built greenhouse exclusively for my clients. A curtsey golf cart so my clients can sit back and enjoy the view to the next shooting location on the property.
